Background

With the development of lighting industry, lighting designers who knows as light shapers are becoming more active and important than ever. Some large scale nights lighting planning and designing projects, especially in the Expo Park and Asian Games has shown it.

National Professional Lighting Designer Qualification Authentication Training Program has been carried by CIES from 2008.More than 500 professional designers has been developed till 2011.And this has suggested the extensive future market prospect of this profession.

In order to promote this line, the official website of CIE--LightingChina decided to set up Golden Finger Award ,which is the first comprehensive awarde in Chinese professional lighting design industry. This award is to honour those outstanding designers,lighting engineering companies , lighting developing talents and lighting facility suppliers.

Golden Figuer is the first comprehensive rateing selction of lighting area. This award has involve all the lighting industry in,and will surely cost the great attention of this trade as its large sclare,hight standard.Let us join hands,work together and step into a new lighting age.

Activity Process

1. Registration Stage: June 8th ,2011-- October 1st,2011 ,Applicant hang over the application form and other relevant information, then sponsor post the information on Lightingchina.com and start to accept the disclosed ballot.

2. Press conference: September 26th ,in Pazhou Asiaword-Expo Poly World Trade Center. Aimed to express the progress registration stage and forward the voting and expert review stage.

3. Disclosed Voting Stage: October 10th ,2011--November 20th ,2011, Disclosed Voteing to all the applicant calculate as “ Judge vote + Internet vote + Short message vote”

4. Expert Review Stage: November 30st ,2011 –December 20th ,2011, Expert holds judge meeting work out the champion according to the Golden Finger Evaluation Index System.

5. Presentation honour and Broadcast Stag:

December 28th ,2011, host the Presentation Honour & Award Program Report Meeting ,and Celebration Party.
